Snowshoe Shuffle 2024

Join us for the 20th annual Snowshoe Shuffle! This year’s event will take place at BASE Community Center in Big Sky on Saturday, March 2nd at 2pm. Bring your pup for a short hike and then warm up inside with refreshments and browse our auction and raffle. Tickets on sale now – First 75 tickets receive a free Snowshoe Shuffle Goodie Bag!

Event Details:

  • Arrive between 2pm-3pm & look for HOV’s registration table at the SE corner of the BASE Building (the intersection of Aspen Leaf Dr. and Simpkins Dr.). Get your SSS goodie bag with treats for you and your four-legged pal and follow the signs to the trail.
  • Start the trek with your pup! This year’s course will be on the BSCO public trails, a short walk from the BASE building.
  • The trail is just over a mile long & takes about 35 minutes to complete. Snowshoes are optional.
  • After the hike, two-legged guests head inside BASE to warm up with refreshments & to browse the auction & raffle prizes. Please return pups to your vehicles before going inside.
  • Stay for the raffle drawing & heartwarming ‘tails’ of pets & people who love them.

Donate an item to the Snowshoe Shuffle auction or raffle! We love including items from small businesses, handmade items or unused goods. Items are advertised on the Snowshoe Shuffle auction page and at the event along with information about your business! Email kelly@heartofthevalleyshelter.org to donate an item.
All funds raised benefit the animals at the shelter. Each contribution goes directly to critical expenses such as shelter, spay-neuter operations, food, and caring staff for the hundreds of homeless animals at the shelter. Your donation will do something important by creating a second chance for the lives of all of the animals at Heart of the Valley.
