Other Ways to Give

Help out Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter by hosting a fundraiser.

Your donations are always appreciated at the shelter! Donated items may be brought to the shelter any day between 12 pm – 5:30 pm. If you have an “in-kind” donation, i.e., any goods or services, but are not certain whether the shelter can accept it, please contact our front desk (406) 388-9399.

Click here to purchase items from our Amazon wish list. Items purchased from our Amazon list are shipped directly to the shelter. Please note: We are not told who the gift is from unless you choose to include a ‘gift note.’ Please include your name as well as an email address and mailing address. If you do, we can send you a thank you and donation receipt.

Any donated items that the shelter cannot use are available to the public in our Community Food Pantry.

Animal Banks

Thank you to these Bozeman, Belgrade, Ennis, West Yellowstone, and Big Sky businesses for having an HOV animal donation bank by their registers! Your spare change makes a huge difference in the lives of our animals!

Support your local animal shelter

Anyone who owns a passenger car, pickup, van, sport utility vehicle, motor home, large truck, bus or trailer that is registered in Montana may choose to display a license plate sponsored by Heart of the Valley. There is no special process to apply for or renew most sponsored plates. The county treasurer issues or renews the plates when you pay the applicable vehicle registration fees and any special license plate fees.

Sporting a HOV license plate not only says you love your pets, but also you support our efforts to help those that cannot speak for themselves.
